Youth Volunteer of the Year: Kwincy Smith
Kwincy
The Fleet would not be the same without people like Kwincy Smith. Kwincy has served over 170 hours, starting as a volunteer for Summer Camp 2011, continuing with Winter Camp, Spring Camp & Young Scientists-and she has no plans to stop. She loves working with little campers and their enthusiasm for learning, constantly amazed at how much they know and their ability to teach her new things. A senior at The Preuss School UCSD, she hopes to attend SDSU and become an elementary school teacher, putting her hours here to good use. Thanks Kwincy for all of your hard work! Do you have an interest in science, education or service, in general? Want to learn new skills? You can be a great volunteer, too! High school students and older can apply here. More>>
