Spring Break Camps: You Can Still Register
Spring Cam There's still time to register your child in Spring Break Camp, running April 4 - April 8. "Crazy Chemistry" spring campers will explore the bases of chemistry though loud, colorful and shocking activities! Kids in grades 1 - 2 and 3 - 4 will make a lava lamp, test for acids and bases, investigate slippery slime, create glowing concoctions and whip up crazy chemical reactions. Sign up for a single day or enroll for the entire week. More>>

See the New IMAX Film TORNADO ALLEY 

Tornado Alley The new IMAX® adventure TORNADO ALLEY is now playing daily! You'll be blown away by the film on the Fleet's giant 76-foot IMAX screen in a you-are-there experience. Feel the adrenaline as a 200 mile-per-hour tornado chases filmmaker Sean Casey in his indestructible Tornado Intercept Vehicle, the TIV. More>>

"Cellular Journey" Interactive Exhibit Experience

Cellular Journey logoThe new "Cellular Journey" exhibition is now open. Stop by to play "cellular pinball" or explore the inside of a human cell on a unique virtual scooter. In conjunction with the new exhibition, we are launching a new interactive lecture series. Dr. Evan Snyder, Program Director, Professor Stem Cells and Regenerative Biology from Sanford Burnham Medical Research Institute will visit the Fleet to discuss stem cell basics. More>>

Climate Conversations: "Getting Serious About Global Warming"
Climate Conversations
Join David G. Victor for a discussion about the progress that's been made to halt global warming. Then, participate in our Climate Conversation to decide how the recent string of conferences are forcing governments to get more serious about this looming issue. Based on Professor Victor's recently released book Global Warming Gridlock, the program will conclude with a book signing, and the book will be available for purchase. More>>

New IMAX Film Opening May 13, 2011
Born to be Wild
BORN TO BE WILD is an inspired story of love, dedication and the remarkable bond between humans and animals. Through the film, you'll meet orphaned orangutans and elephants and the extraordinary people who rescue and raise them - saving endangered species one life at a time.

A special pre-opening showing of this film will be held on Mother's Day, Sunday May 8 to raise funds for the Orangutan Foundation International (OFI). Meet Dr. Biruté Mary Galdikas from the new film and learn about the work OFI is doing to support the conservation of wild orangutans and their rainforest habitat. Save the date.
